The Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Latvia is a centre for academic and professional education in chemistry. It offers both Bachelor’s and Master’s study programmes. In addition, professional higher education study programmes, such as Protection and Expertise of Labour Environment and Secondary Education Teacher of Chemistry give an opportunity to get professional higher education.

Doctoral studies are the way to pursue a doctorate in chemistry. Moreover, students have many possibilities to take part in research work.

There are approximately 330 students in the Faculty and 280 are financed by state budget.
